Roadmap for Friendica 2025.02

Hey there,

my current idea for the release of 2025.02 would be the following.

  • Tuesday after FOSDEM I will switch my personal node to the current development branch. Soon after I would like to branch off an RC branch. Except anyone of you is aware of a serious bug that should be fixed before the testing phase for the next release is started.
  • Giving two week of RC phase, this would aim for the weekend of the 22./23. February for the release of the next stable version of Friendica.


Has anybody of you objections against the plan?

Since noticing the template available on e.g. joinfriendica.de it has keept me amazed in a positive way.

Considering the quality of the template, it certainly is a candidate for default template. Thus having 2025.02 for testing, feedback and discussion would be highly welcome.

In now way is the template in it's current state less mature than what frio current template has to offer.

There is an ongoing issue irt blurred avatars being investigated. Wondering if holding off with RC until that is resolved would be a good idea?

Moin zusammen,
gestern bin ich mit meinem Testnode auf die Dev. umgezogen. Das sieht alles schon sehr gut aus. Derzeit habe ich aber Probleme mit den Profilbildern
