Was reading this Substack post about US gov cloud servers being pointed at AI companies. It observed that a number of US gov cloud servers on AWS are now pointing to IPs at a company called inventry.ai

I checked on a few of the IPs mentioned in this writeup, and it checks out. E.g., the IP address 18.253.166.131 from 2020-2024 was tied to us-gov-east-1.compute.amazonaws.com and is part of the gov cloud infrastructure at AWS. Loading that IP into DomainTools Iris, we can see the SSL cert assigned to them is for inventry.ai.
Methinks we need to know more about Inventry.

Funny. For the 1000th time, my former employers professed to have made their last Oracle purchase in 2021. PostGres was chosen.
Weird though, that they weren't replacing the oldest, weakest Oracle servers and instances first.
You may have a legal right to know why they terminated your account.
In many jurisdictions, you have the right to request all personal information they have about you, especially stuff like this, and they are obligated to retain any information about you that were used to make a decision affecting you (like deleting your account) for a period of time (one year where I am) so you can make such request.

Wichtig wäre auch, dass diese elenden Sicherheitsfragen endlich abgeschafft werden. Dinge wie Geburtsort, Mädchenname der Mutter, Name der ersten Schule und ähnliches können heutzutage leicht recherchiert werden bzw. nahe Verwandte wissen das vielleicht eh. Wenn ich gezwungen werde sowas anzugeben setzte ich ein random generierten String ein.
Mitglieder und Vertreter*innen der Parteien AfD, CDU/CSU und FDP sollten die Fragen natürlich wahrheitsgemäß angeben.
