📝 Nachtrag zum 2. Friendica-Admin-Treff (15.04.2026)
Ein herzliches Dankeschön an die Entwickler @Tobias , @Michael 🇺🇦 und @Artur Weigandt für den offenen und konstruktiven Austausch mit den Friendica-Instanzbetreiber:innen und Admins 🙌
Der Dialog war durchweg hilfreich und hat gezeigt, wie wertvoll der direkte Austausch zwischen Entwicklung und Praxis ist.
💡 Themen waren unter anderem:
• die kommende Friendica-Version inkl. Relais
• Moderation: Übersicht der Reports
• Moderation: Blocklisten entfernter Kontakte (z. B. von anderen Knoten, speziell Bluesky)
• Dateiverwaltung (z. B. PDF) inkl. Funktionen zur Verwaltung und Löschung
• Addon „blockbot“
• und vieles mehr
🤝 Ein gesunder Austausch ist wichtig – er hilft allen weiter, ob Admins oder Entwickler:innen.
Im direkten Gespräch lassen sich Missverständnisse schnell klären und Lösungen finden. Der ein oder andere Aha-Moment war definitiv dabei!

Ein wichtiger Punkt wurde ebenfalls betont: Für das Projekt Friendica werden weiterhin engagierte Entwickler:innen gesucht.
Gemeinsam können wir Friendica weiterentwickeln – es gibt noch viel zu tun!

• Übersetzungen
• Dokumentationen und Beschreibungen
• Tests und Feedback
💚 Jeder kleine Beitrag zählt. Alles geschieht freiwillig und dient der Gemeinschaft. Es liegt an uns, dieses wertvolle Projekt lebendig zu halten.

📝 Summary of the 2nd Friendica Admin Meeting (April 15, 2026)
A big thank you to the developers Tobias, Michael, and Artur for the open and constructive exchange with Friendica instance operators and admins 🙌
The discussion was very helpful and once again showed how valuable direct communication between development and real-world operation really is.
💡 Topics included:
• the upcoming Friendica release, including relay features
• moderation: overview of reports
• moderation: blocklists of removed contacts (e.g. from other nodes, especially Bluesky)
• file management (e.g. PDFs), including handling and deletion features
• the “blockbot” addon
• and much more
🤝 Open and respectful dialogue is essential – it helps everyone, whether admins or developers.
Direct conversations make it easier to resolve misunderstandings and find solutions quickly. There were definitely quite a few “aha” moments along the way!
🚀 Get involved!
An important point was also raised: Friendica is always in need of motivated developers.
There is still a lot to build and improve – and the developer community needs you!

Contributions are not limited to development. You can also help by:
• translations
• writing documentation and descriptions
• testing and providing feedback
💚 Every small contribution matters. Everything is voluntary and serves the community. It’s up to all of us to keep this project alive and strong.

Weil kommt da könnte man Linuxadmins mit bezahlen die werden bezahlt da die meisten Server Linux sind meisten Oracle oder Ähnliches. und die Kosten kommen aber aus einen anderen Grund zustande weil in der Verwaltung nicht Informatiker und andere IT Technische MA entscheiden sondern Juristen und ihre Netzwerke die Beratervorgaben einfach übernehmen und nicht verstehen.
Beispiele XML soll von A Nach B man nutzt Oracle OSB statt einen einfachen XML Proxy kosten hoch

Als Antwort auf Anne Roth • • •Wie viele Entwickler freier Software könnte man damit finanzieren? Aber ne, das ist genauso wie bei Öl und Gas: Da MUSS das Geld dringend für Importe rausgeworfen werden, unbedingt!!!
Und für die Deutschland-App nehmen wir Telekom, SAP und hosten das ganze auf AWS.
